Growing up in Sweden, Sallstrom began experimenting with makeup at an early age. After completing his studies in cosmetics and make-up design, he moved to London where he worked on prestigious fashion shows for brands such as Dior, Gucci, Balmain, and Givenchy. He quickly became known for his bold and avant-garde aesthetic which has now become synonymous with his name. His signature look draws inspiration from classic Hollywood glamour combined with modern trends that create timeless looks that are always fashionable yet never overdone. Sallstrom has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle UK, Harper’s Bazaar, and GQ Magazine where he often works alongside some of the biggest names in fashion photography including Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, and Nick Knight. He is also a regular contributor to music videos for high-profile clients such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Jessie J, Maroon 5, and numerous others.
